Ingredients:
- 150 g of spaghetti (or other pasta)
- 100 g ham
- 250g button mushrooms (Champignon)
- 1 red onion
- 1 bell pepper
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 2 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of pepper
- 1 teaspoon of oregano or basil
- 2 dl of tomato juice
Instructions:
First steps for preparing Speedy Spaghetti:
Boil approximately 150g of spaghetti (2 portions) in salted water, then strain and set it aside.
Meanwhile, prepare the other ingredients for cooking. Clean and chop 1 red onion, 2 cloves of garlic, and 1 bell pepper. Use a chopper or finely dice the ham. Then cut the button mushrooms into fine slices.
Next steps:
Grease the frying pan with 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Sauté the chopped onion until translucent over medium heat. Increase the heat, then add the ham and mushrooms, and sauté for 5 minutes over high heat.
Reduce the heat, add the crushed garlic, and continue to stir & brown for another minute or two.
Third step:
Pour in the tomato sauce and add all the spices along with the oregano or basil. Simmer and stir for up to 5 minutes.
